This will be my last blog entry as a thirty something. I know what you are all saying; "My gosh I did not know he was going to be 40". "He doesn't look 40". Thank you for those kind words people. Turning 40 this week will be no different than any other day. Be happy for me.....My life is just now getting started. What am I looking for??? Good question. As JB says....

I was pretty much out of commission for about 1 month. I was studying for my Florida Insurance exam. I passed. I hate taking standardized tests. They always try to trick you. Now the exam is over.....it's time to get back to my "island".
A very good friend of mine talked me into going on "Match". So I did. I have done this for about 3 months. I cancelled my subscription this morning. This "avenue" for meeting women is just not my gig. I prefer to meet people in person. I want to see their expressions.....Are their eyes really hazel or do they have those funky contacts that change the color of ones eyes???? I am not really hip on the idea of winning over the ladies when I am sitting in my scrunders carrying a conversation over the W W W. I can only imagine what some people have done and are doing right now. We have all seen the "like and the dislikes" of our potential "prey" on Match. We all like to take long walks on the beach. Why is that even in there? Some people say "I eat healthy all week". Yeah right....They will not pass the opportunity for a big cheesburger and fries. And please don't forget about all the chocolate you sneak at least 3-4 times a week. I would have more respect for you if you just came out and said it. "I LOVE CHOCOLATE" and will eat i
t every chance I get. My buddy the "fatman" loves "HoHo's". (Picture to the right) He is not shy about it.... With "online" you miss the physical side. For instance, I do not want to forget the feeling when you are dancing with a fine young lady and you whisper a few "naughties in her ear". She will move her head back in forth in either pure excitement or excruciating pain because you just stepped on her toe. Now that's living.... Get up to the plate and swing the bat. Back to the island....
Mac came over this past weekend. Friday night we went to the "Hard Rock" take it easy girls....I found a quick way to get in and out. Finally, I do not have to wait in line to park the car. Here is the link; http://www.seminolehardrockhollywood.com/
No, my blog is not big enough to where I can start charging for advertising. Someday boys and girls.... We get to the parking lot and were pretty far away. Wow, that's a really far walk! Mac called the girl on the bike over. Imagine a little hottie riding a 3 wheel bike that has 2 seats in the back. We jumped in. Cost 5.00. What a sight to see having this girl pump those legs and get us to the bar. I felt like I was watching the Travel Channel and how they get around in China. Mac tipped her an extra 5.00. I asked her how much it would cost if she just drove us around all night. She said we did not have enough money. I laughed because I knew we did..... That would of been a sight to see.
Saturday came along quick. Just about everytime Mac comes into town we head to the Elbo Room for a few Saturday afternoon cocktails.... That's what we do. Here is my view: You can switch it from the roof, patio, and the band:

I have a new friend..... I have never met her. I hope too real soon. She is originally from Cincinnati and moved to Fort Lauderdale about the same time I came down here last year. She is a friend of a friend. We have talked a few times and I look forward to meeting her. She was suppose to meet up with us last Friday night. Unfortunately, she was not able to make it. Some guy dropped a 50 lb weight on her foot when she was working out. See what I have been talking about people. This stuff is going to kill you. Walk and ride your bike....
One of my friends is leaving South Florida. She is heading back to Boston. We will all miss you and will cherish the time you spent down here with all of us. I will always have the vision of you eating the chocolate on Hollywood Blvd. With all that said, what do you think we did next? We went to the Hard Rock. Many people showed up and a good time was had by all. Did I mention there was a mechanical bull? There is absolutely no reason in the world why any guy should ride the bull. Women only.... I would love to show you all of the photo's from the evening but these will have to do.
I received my tickets in the mail last Friday. Football season is just right around the corner. The tickets this year have a player on them. Guess who is on the Pittsburgh ticket.
Palmer....Somebody was a having a field day with that.... It's amazing how people will crack one another. I guess you get to make a statement without really making one....
Labor day weekend is fast approaching. I look forward to seeing Ms. "B" and a few of her friends from the great state (commonwealth for all of you politically correct bastards.) of Kentucky. Ladies, I look forward to your arrival.
