It's about time....

The Tiki bar is open
Boat drinks are now being served
I had Friday off. Richard and Dan were on their way. I was picking them up at the airport around 11:30. The flights from Cincinnati always arrived early. I left my place around 10:30 to get them. The phone rings and they just landed. I called Rick back and told him he needed to change in the airport because we were going straight to the Elbo Room. He was not hip on that so I said we would just go back to my place. I pull up and I realized there was no way this guy could change in the airport.
It was great to see friendly faces. Rick told me about Dan. He was at my house back in Cincinnati. Prior to him coming down I could not put the name and face together. I saw him and I remembered him. I took them the fastest way I new.....Through the hood. On the way, I told Rick to look in the glove compartment. There it was.... SPF 50. I told him it was my job and duty to protect him from the sun. I live in the tropics....
We got to my place and these guys changed from their winter clothes. Jeans and jackets. Off to the Elbo Room. God I love that hole in the wall. Richard lathered up. I kept on him about the sun. We get to A1A and the corner of Las Olas. We were starving. We went to the restaurant right next to the Elbo Room. We ordered up some burgers and beers. Staring out into the ocean. It was a great sight. They both commented on what a sight and they could get use to it. We ate and slammed a few beers back. Off to the Elbo Room. We sat outside. Dan and I sat in the sun while Rick was under the umbrella. The girls going on and off the beach were pretty dam hot. We all were enjoying the sights. I told Rick to come in the back. I got Shannon Schenkel ( I mean Shannon) to get Rick a Shirt. She pulled an X-tra large out. She said how about this. It would not fit him. 2XX came out and that worked well. It was so big I could of worn to to bed at night. We sat at the Elbo room all day. We left around 5-6PM. It was a beautiful day. Right around 80 degrees and with a nice breeze. Dan was looking a bit dazzled. Rick told me Dan was not use to cocktailing all day. No worries. It is what it is......
We are on are way back to my place and Dan is snoring in the back seat. That's ok we were jamming to "Come Sail Away". That is a great song. My friend Stephanie went to a concert with me 2 years ago at Cincinnati Music Hall. Dennis De Young. We had 4th row seats. What a night that was. Hope to see you soon.
Shower up and it is round two.....

We are going to MaMa Mia's right around the corner. 3 for 1 drinks and 2 for 1 appetizer. We are heading down there and we stop to see a few friends of mine at the Sour Apple. We hung out and cocktailed for an hour or so. Lets go to MaMa Mia's. We get there at the bar and Tantiani is serving as usual. She is a great bartender just like Melissa at O'Malleys. She aims to please and she delivers. There were quite a few people I knew from my building and 2 from work. I enjoy their company and I think Rick and Dan did as well. We had appetizers on half of the bar. It must of been at least 10 feet of food. We were all in heaven. The cocktails were flowing. Some more than others. If there was a stipper pole in the bar, we would of left happy men. For those
of you who were there you you understand what I am talking about. " Sweet mother of God"
Its 12:30. Time to go home. Long day of cocktailing and bumming around Hollywood....

Saturday morning we went to eat. Rick was delighted we were close to my place to do his thing. 1 1/2 blocks. I said we were going to the beach and I can see the look on Ricks face. He has spf 50 and I was going to get an umbrella. We get to the beach and the Fat man was delighted. Dan and I got some rays and Rick under the umbrella. We hung out drinking some cold Bud's. I went into the ocean. The water was around 80. The waves were big and knocked me down a few times. Rick did not get in. Dan went to the local place and bought him a bathing suit. We could barley keep Dan out . This certainly was not Lake Erie. We decide to leave the beach and go to 2 cans. I wanted to show Rick the place I go to watch the Bengals games. He used the facilities.
We left there and went to O'Malleys. Dan and Rick liked this tiki bar much better. Rick used the facilities again. We ordered up cocktails and food. Dan was sporting his new bathing suit, he decide to take another swim. He was gone awhile. We were starting to wonder if he was taken out to sea by the rip currents. Rick wanted to know where his wallet was. Oh my goodness there is Melissa. She was our bartender for the last round of Cincinnati fun. I gave her the address for my blog again. I guess she was putting an @ instead of a period after hollywoodhumph. Enjoy sweetheart.
Off to shower and round 2. We are heading to the "Hard Rock". Slots and "No hold'em. The wait for cards was terrible. We could not even get even a table. So we were slot whore's all night. We were doomed because Dan had 50.00 bills on him. You never take 50's to a casino. Why you ask? President Grant tried to outlaw gambling. You will never see a 50.00 bill in Vegas except for some poor bastard. We lost our ass off. Jumped back in the taxi and headed back to Hollywood. We get there and their was a band playing. The streets were closed off. Rick was trying to do some salsa. "Sweet mother of God". We head down to Chocallata. There is a guy playing jungle music. Rick really enjoyed that.... Heading home. Another 12 hour day. Dan's tolerance is really starting to pick up.

Sunday....Thank God. We decide that we are all just going to go the pool. We get down there and Rick and Dan head for the shade.... By the way, prior to going down to the pool I put spf 50 on Ricks back. Now we have moved to a new spot in our relationship....
I have never seen a back so white and not a hair on it. Like a baby's ass. I do not think his back has ever seen the light of day. We get down there and Rick and Dan head for the shade. Which is expected. They finally get to the pool and surprising Rick likes it. Not sure if it was the Buds talking or not.... It was another perfect day. We wanted to chill because it was along weekend of cocktailing. I kept telling Dan to put a shirt on or he was going to get fried. He finally did.
We went to an Italian restaurant for dinner. My friend Juilet came with us. We needed a good meal. It was the first good one we had. I am surprised Dan did not order pizza. It is about 8PM and Rick and I shut the valve off. That's what we do on Sunday. We get back to my place and settle in for the night. Dan decideds he wants to go out. Rick and I looked at each other and said "no way". We watched some TV and said "Dan is contiplating on weather or not to move down here". Monday morning I was still not sure weather or not he was going to leave. Dan, you are always welcome down here my friend.
Dropped the guys off Monday morning and went to work. Talked to Rick later that night. He left his dome light on and needed a jump in the short term parking lot in Cincinnati. Not a good way to start off. He also tells me he was diappointed that no women commented on his physical attributes when he was in South Florida. It was only on the plane that a gay flight attendant starting to give him some attention. Oh boy....
That is all....
